‘Suspicious’ man orders girl, 12, to ‘get in car’ during terrifying kidnapping attempt

A ‘suspicious’ man ordered a 12-year-old girl to ‘get in his car’ during a terrifying kidnapping attempt.

The Year 7 pupil was approached on September 7 in Feltham, West London as she walked home from school.

It was around 3.50pm when the scared schoolgirl noticed a ‘suspicious man’ waiting in his car.

The man then asked the girl to ‘come here’ through the open window of his car, reported MyLondon.

When the girl ignored the man he repeated the question, according to her mum.

The schoolgirl was scared by the man’s approach and ran home, later telling her mum.

Her mum believes that the man was attempting to kidnap her daughter and called the police.

So far no arrests have been made but police are appealing for more information.

In another incident, 15 minutes away from Rosslyn Road, a 15-year-old girl also reported that a man tried to convince her to get in his car two days prior to the Feltham incident.

On September 5 she reported that a man pressured her to get into his car on Worton Road, Isleworth. It is not clear whether these incidents are connected.

In regards to the Feltham incident, a spokesperson from the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 3.51pm on September 7 to reports of suspicious circumstances in Rosslyn Avenue, Feltham.

“Officers were told a man in a stationary car asked a 12-year-old girl to ‘come here.’ The victim ignored him and walked home.

“The police were then called. No arrests have been made. Enquiries continue.”
